Stokes was involved in a street fight near a night club in Bristol in 2017 and that cost him a place in the Ashes (2017-18). He was found not guilty but he has to face eight-match ban by England Cricket Board. Later, in the 2019 ODI World Cup, the 31-year-old made a great comeback and helped England win the coveted trophy with his performance. He was awarded the Player of the Series in 2019 World Cup.

When Stokes was struggling from mental-health issues, Stuart Broad, in the trailer, was saying that he thought that Stokes could never be able to play cricket again. “I could see him never playing again.” Many had thought that but Stokes made a brilliant comeback from his depression and right now, he is captaining England’s Test side. Joe Root stated in the video: “Not many people get to see the best side of him, but I am grateful that I have.”

Stokes has been in news after he announced a shocking decision about his retirement from ODI cricket, stating that it would help in workload management.
