Amid fans’ discussions, a video of Gambhir shared by The Lallantop has been going viral. In that video, Gambhir was questioning why he was removed as vice-captain while Dhoni still remained the captain after the CB series.

If something was changed after the CB series, it was the vice-captain. I was removed, and Virat Kohli was made the vice-captain. In the history of India or any sport, has it happened even once when the vice-captain was removed, but the captain was intact. You can confront me if I am wrong.

Gautam Gambhir foresees a dangerous Babar Azam in the near future

Gautam Gambhir believes fans can see the actual Babar now that he doesn’t have the captaincy pressure on his shoulders. While speaking on Sportskeeda, Gambhir said he understood why Babar couldn’t perform in the World Cup, that he was under immense pressure because his team was not performing well. Gambhir is confident he will see a different Babar until the day he retires.
