During the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Lucknow Super Giants, a man was seen invading the pitch midway during the 2nd innings to meet Virat Kohli. However, as the person tried to approach Virat Kohli, the player backed away and let the police official handle the situation.

The Policeman was seen lifting the man upon his shoulder instantly and took him away from Virat Kohli. Kohli couldn’t hold his laughter as he saw the Groundsman carry the pitch invader on his shoulder, he was seen imitating the police right after. Royal Challengers Bangalore went on to win the game by 14 runs.

Watch as Virat Kohli funnily imitates the police official

The win for RCB means they will now face the Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 of IPL 2022. The winner of Qualifier 2 will go through into the finals of IPL 2022 and face off against Gujarat Titans at their home ground, the Narendra Modi Stadium. Against LSG, while Virat Kohli didn’t have the best of outings with the bat, his teammate Rajat Patidar scored his first IPL century and became only the 5th player ever to score a century in IPL play-offs.

Both Rajasthan and Bangalore won a game each in the league stages against one another. However, in both times, Virat Kohli was an under performer. Hence, he will have a lot to prove in the Qualifier 2. RCB will want their talismanic batsman at his best at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday, 27th May.
