Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Wanindu Hasaranga had gone for a duck after a brilliant yorker from Rajasthan Royals’ Prasidh Krishna on Friday, May 27 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Bangalore had scored 157/8 in their 20 overs after in-form Rajat Patidar’s half-century knock.
RCB seemed to have the advantages over RR when Rajat Patidar was at the crease scoring runs but the moment Ravichandran Ashwin dismissed him, RCB’s wickets fell quickly from then onwards.
In the 18.2 overs when RCB were at 146, entered Wanindu Hasaranga who fell prey to Prasidh Krishna’s brilliant yorker to go back with a golden duck. With Hasaranga’s wicket, Prasidh Krishna was on a hat-trick which he could’t complete. Hasaranga attempted to squeeze it out but couldn’t. He failed to get his bat down quickly and the ball then went to shatter the stumps.
