“Kuldeep has brought a cool hairstyle with him from India in this warm weather in Barbados. Only long hair can protect you in this heat, if you keep short hair here, your head will burn down.” In response, Kuldeep said he copied Jadeja’s style as he loves to copy his bowling as well.

After winning the two-match Test series against West Indies 1-0, the two teams locked horns in the first of the three-match ODI series. India skipper Rohit Sharma chose to bowl first after winning the toss and with the help of Kuldeep’s four-wicket haul, India crumbled West Indies at just 114 in 23 overs.

In just three overs, he took the wickets of Shai Hope, Dominic Drakes, Yannic Cariah, and Jayden Seales. With two maiden overs, he gave just six runs at an economy of 2, and later, he was adjudged the Player of the Match. On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja dismissed three batters for 37 runs in his six overs. The second ODI will be held on Saturday (July 29) at the same venue in Barbados, while the final ODI is on Tuesday (August 1) at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad.
