It’s hard to keep Ravindra Jadeja from pulling off a stunner during fielding. Be it his catches or his run out with the help of his rocket throw, Jadeja is rightly called a rockstar for his amazing display of athletic talents. Thanks to his catch again, India got rid of Bangladeshi senior player Mushfiqur Rahim on Thursday (October 19) at the MCA Stadium in Pune.

This happened after Bangladesh crossed 200. Off Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling short and slower ball, Rahim attempted to cut and succeeded. However, at point, Jadeja saw the ball and dived toward his right to catch the ball safely with both hands.

The celebrations were for our fielding coach. We get a medal after each game for the best fielder so I was saying to our coach that I am also here (smiles).”

Notably, before Jadeja, keeper KL Rahul grabbed the first stunner to send Mehidy Hasan Miraj to the pavilion. He dived towards his left and outstretched his hand to take the catch.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh scored 256 runs with two half-centuries (from Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das). Then Mahmudullah scored 46 and with Rahim’s 38, Bangladesh reached the total. India have so far crossed 50 without losing any wicket.
