Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja played a match-winning cameo (15* off 6) and helped his team beat defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) to lift their fifth IPL title. CSK beat GT by five wickets in the IPL 2023 Final and it was jubilation for the yellow army. Jadeja too was emotional as he ran with all his might across the Narendra Modi Stadium. 

The all-rounder deservingly got all the love from fans as well as from people close to him. While MS Dhoni lifted Jadeja in his arms after CSK’s title win, the all-rounder’s wife floored Jadeja with her gesture. Rivaba Jadeja who was at the venue during the all-important game, touched her husband’s feet when she came down to meet Jadeja after the match. Even Jadeja was taken aback by this gesture from his wife. The couple then hugged each other to celebrate the win.

As the video of Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja touching her husband’s feet went viral on social media, fans started reacting to it. Most of them praised the couple for being rooted in their culture while a few found it problematic too.

The couple then also posed with the trophy in CSK’s dressing room. Ravindra Jadeja shared a picture on Instagram wherein he is seen posing before the camera with his wife holding the trophy and MS Dhoni sitting beside them. Jadeja also wrote a beautiful caption. “We did it for ONE and ONLY “MS DHONI. mahi bhai aapke liye toh kuch bhi…” wrote Jadeja.
