Glenn Maxwell equals Rohit Sharma’s record

In the second T20I between Australia and West Indies, Glenn Maxwell played a whirlwind knock again, showcasing how dangerous he still is. One always recalls the mayhem he created against Afghanistan during the 2023 ODI World Cup.

In the second T20I against West Indies, Maxwell’s knock took Australia to 241/4 as he made 120* from just 55 balls with the help of 12 boundaries and eight sixes, batting at a strike rate of 218.18.

This was his fifth T20I century. It made him share the record for most hundreds in the format with Rohit Sharma. Sharma smashed his fifth hundred in the third T20I against Afghanistan last month.

Australia won the match by 34 runs after bundling out the visitors for 207 runs.
