90,000 fans at the MCG were brought to their feet by one man on Sunday evening. The man who always fancies an Indo-Pak encounter, Virat Kohli rose to the challenge once again in a monumental setting. The Indian batter smashed an unbeaten knock 82 runs off just 53 balls to guide the Men in Blue past the finishing line, in what could be termed as one of the greatest T20I matches till date.

What makes it even more special for Virat Kohli is the fact that this knock comes after a long lean patch, which lasted for more than he hoped for. The former Indian skipper was reduced to tears after Ravi Ashwin scored the winning runs. The 33-year-old pointed towards the sky, soaking in the atmosphere, after playing a scintillating knock.

Rohit Sharma joined the party as well, picking up Virat Kohli on his back. This was certainly a wholesome moment for ICT fans, given the talks of rift between the duo which often does the rounds in the media.
