In a video shared by content creators “Funcho”, a highly skilled batter like Suryakumar Yadav could be seen taking part in a book batting challenge where he has to face an ultimate defeat. Yuzvendra Chahal, who is known for his light jokes reacted.
In the Instragram reel, he two creators, Dhruv Saha and Shyam Sharma were seen approaching Suryakumar Yadav who was busy with his phone. They were quite shocked to see a batter like Suryakumar there. They boasted a lot of their batting skills and asked him for a challenge. Suryakumar asked if they played any club cricket or any other cricket to which they denied because it’s not required as they have class. When Suryakumar accepted the challenge, they took him to the batting area which wasn’t a 22 yards pitch but a table with a big fat book on it.
Suryakumar had a funny look on his face and didn’t anticipate that it was some kind of a joke. Dhruv Saha, one of the content creators opened the book and added the number. When it was Suryakumar’s turn, he got 200 and lost the challenge.

Book cricket is an indoor game where two players play it. When one player wins the toss, he as to open a random page of a fat book to note down the last digit of the page number which should be an even number. He has to always look for the side of the book. Till he gets 0, he will keep playing and once dismissed. The points will be added in the end and other player have to score as much run to win. Suryakumar got 200, that means 0, so he got out for a duck.

Yuzvendra Chahal laughs after watching the video
In the recently-concluded IPL 2022, Suryakumar Yadav, who was playing for Mumbai Indians was seen engaging in a sweet banter with Rajasthan Royals’ Yuzvendra Chahal on the field. Both the players are good friends off the field. When Funcho shared the video on their social media platform, Yuzvendra Chahal reacted with two laughing emojis, to which Funcho responded by asking Chahal for a bowling challenge.
