Ahead of the first T20I against South Africa, which will began on June 9,Team India started their training at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The players who were seen wearing jersies of different colours are united in the Blues.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared the video of the players practicing for the upcoming matches. Rahul Dravid was seen, immersed in a long conversation, sharing his words of wisdom to all the players.
“Back in Blue- Prep mode ON. Team India begin training in Delhi ahead of the 1st T201 against South Africa,” BCCI captioned the post.

India can set record of most T20I wins
After the fitness drillls, Team India players have assembled together for a hecting international season. The first T20I of the series will be played in Delhi and the remaining matches will be played in Cuttack, Vizag, Rajkot, and Bengaluru respectively. After the fifth match on June 19, Team India will travel to Ireland and England.
If India wins the match, then they’ll set a sensational record of most T20I wins (12). They are currently level with Afghanistan and Romania. They had started their streak when they won they defeated Afghanistan by 66 runs in the T20 World Cup and post the World Cup, Team India played dominant cricket under Rohit Sharma’s leadership.
But in upcoming five T20Is against the Proteas, Rohit Sharma is rested, so are Virat Kohli, Jaspreet Bumrah, and Mohammed Shami. KL Rahul will lead the team and Rishabh Pant is the vice-captain. Ravindra Jadeja and Suryakumar Yadav will miss the series due to injuries suffered in IPL.
After delivering sensational performances in IPL, Umran Malik is selected to join for the international matches. Arshdeep Singh is also the new face who got a call for maiden series.
