[Watch] – Trent Boult makes a young fan’s day after giving his shirt following Rajasthan’s win over RCB

Rajasthan Royals beat the Royal Challengers Bangalore last night by 8 wickets thanks to a superb century by Jos Buttler. However, what also left the fans mesmerised was Trent Boult’s cute gesture after the match to make a young fans’ day. The kiwi fast bowler gave his shirt after the match to a young kid as he was leaving the Narendra Modi stadium.

Rajasthan Royals uploaded the video on Instagram with the caption, “How can you not love Trent Boult? 😍 Watch him make a young fan’s day after #RRvRCB. 💗” In the video, Trent Boult tried to throw the shirt into the stands but is unable to, so he throws it down the stairs to a RR backroom staff who then passes it on to the young fan. Even though the boy was wearing a RCB jersey, he couldn’t hold back his joy as he got the jersey of Trent Boult.

Trent Boult has 15 wickets for Rajasthan Royals this season

The 32 year old has taken a flurry of wickets for Rajasthan this season. He is the team’s 3rd highest wicket takes after Yuzvendra Chahal and Prasidh Krishna. Boult will be crucial in finals of IPL 2022 for Rajasthan against Gujarat Titans. The teams have faced off twice this season and Gujarat have come out on top on both occasions.

The finals will be played at the Narendra Modi stadium on 30th may, 8 pm. While Rajasthan aim to go level with the Kolkata Knight Riders and claim their second IPL title, Gujarat Titans will hope to win the IPL trophy in their debut season. Both team have been at their absolute best so far this season. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
