India’s Virat Kohli and Ishan Kishan could be seen entertaining the Eden Gardens crowd with their dance moves after winning the second ODI match against Sri Lanka. The hosts won the match by four wickets to take an unassailable 2-0 lead.

After the game, there was a light and sound show at the stadium. During that show, jubilant Kohli and Kishan grooved to the music and showed off their dance moves. The video of their dance has gone viral on Twitter. Check the video below:

With Nuwanindu Fernando’s 50, Kusal Mendis’ 34, and Dunith Wellalage’s 32, the Lankans put on 215 on the scoreboard. Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav wrecked the Lankans’ batting order with both bagging three wickets each.

India did not get off to a great start as they lost their openers, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, for 17 and 21 respectively. Last ODI’s hero, Kohli, could add just four runs. India’s situation looked tight at 86/4 as Sri Lanka was sniffing a victory. But KL Rahul’s gritty 64* off 103 and Hardik Pandya’s 36 off 53 drove India past the target and they won the match by four wickets.

Will Ishan Kishan get a chance to feature in the XI for final ODI?

Ishan Kishan

The third and final ODI will be played on Sunday (January 15) at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. As India have already won the series, skipper Rohit Sharma can make some changes to the playing XI.

Ahead of the ODI series, team India’s management team faced criticisms for not picking Ishan Kishan for the first match. Kishan previously became the youngest batter to smash a double century which he did against Bangladesh last year.

But between Kishan and Shubman Gill, Rohit chose Gill as his opening partner. But the criticisms slowly subdued when Gill played a 60-ball 70-run knock. In the second ODI, Gill could contribute just 21 runs. For the third ODI, Kishan might get a chance as Rohit had said before that the management will give opportunities to both the youngsters.
