Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli met his childhood hero and the God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar ahead of the IPL 2023 match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The two seemed to enjoy each other’s company as both Kohli and Sachin were spotted with big smiles on their faces. 

The video of Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar meeting each other ahead of the mega clash was shared by RCB on their social media handles. Kohli is seen whispering something into Sachin’s ears and then bursting into laughter. The Master Blaster, meanwhile, is seen with a big smile on his face. 

Earlier, Mumbai Indians (MI) also shared a picture of the two players, and it was enough to set the internet on fire. Fans were left in awe after seeing two of the greatest batters of their respective generations sharing the same frame.

Must-win game for RCB and MI

While the two greatest cricketers of the world continue to enjoy each other’s company, the focus will be on the mega clash between RCB and MI. Both teams are tied in terms of points accumulated so far in IPL 2023. Both RCB and MI have won five out of ten matches played so far and sit adjacent to each other in the points table. 

Now, as the Rohit Sharma-led team gets ready to take on Faf du Plessis’ RCB, it will be a must-win game for both teams. If RCB manage to defeat MI, they will reach the top two in the points table while MI winning will ensure them a place in the top four. But more than that, a win is needed for both teams to stay alive in the tournament. So, becomes a must-win game for both RCB and MI.
