Former India captain Virat Kohli wears his heart on his sleeves. A video has surfaced online where Kohli could be seen shutting down “RCB RCB” chants and pointed towards India logo on his jersey to remind the fans that right now he is now playing for India and not for the IPL franchise. This happened when India were locking horns with Australia in the second T20I in Nagpur on September 23.

The video of the incident has gone viral on Twitter. You can watch that video below:

Kohli has played with the RCB franchise since the inception of IPL in 2008. He captained the side for a long time before stepping down from the position in this year’s IPL.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli didn’t have a good outing in both the T20Is against Australia. In the second T20I, he scored only 11 runs off six balls, including two boundaries before getting dismissed by spinner Adam Zampa in the 5th over.

Talking about the match, rain interrupted the 2nd T20I and Australia, who were asked to bat first put on 90/5 in the reduced eight overs. Aussie wicketkeeper Matthew Wade scored most runs for the team (43* runs off 20 balls) while skipper and opener Aaron Finch scored 31 runs off 15 balls. Axar Patel picked up two wickets and conceded 13 runs in his two overs and Jasprit Bumrah, who made his comeback to the team after injury, too claimed a wicket.

India won the match by six wickets with Rohit Sharma‘s unbeaten 46-run knock off 20 balls at an impressive strike rate of 230. Zampa scalped three wickets in the innings. Rohit was adjudged the Player of the Match. India have drew three-match series by 1-1.
