The legendary Wasim Akram rolled back the years during a charity match organised in rememberance of late Shane Warne. Akram delivered an inswinger yorker to former England captain Michael Atherton to dimiss him.
Clive Llyod was in umpiring duty and Brian Lara was at the non-striker end when the Akram bowled an absolute jaffa to dismiss Atherton. He had produced a toe-crushing yorker that hit the middle and lef stump, and Akram was off to his trademark celebration. Michael Atherton just smiled and walked back to the pavillion.A video is shared by Cricket District with the caption:

“Some things will stay the same”- Wasim Akram’s sly dig at Atherton
Both Wasim Akram and Michael Atherton were rivals in the 1990s but have played for Lancashire for many years. Akram took a sly did at his former teammate and wrote on Twitter: “Sorry @Athersmike we might get older, but some things will stay the same!” In one of the recent interviews, Atherton described Akram as “one of the great left-armers that the game has ever seen.”
