The calm, kind and sweet wall of India, Rahul Dravid was seen donning his ‘Indiranagar Ka Gunda’ avatar thanks to CRED and their innovative ads. The ad shows Dravid portraying scenes from a time where he loses his cool in traffic.
Talking to Kunal Shah for an interview with CRED, Dravid said how the AD was actually well received by people and how their views about him had changed, he said, “There are people who look at me very differently now, thinking when is this guy going to explode. It’s been a really good, positive response. I wasn’t very sure about the reactions. But I think it’s been really well received.
Dravid also revealed that while the Ad got a positive response from the audience but to date, his mom doesn’t approve of how he had to act in the ad. Explaining his mom’s reaction, Rahul Dravid said, “I think my mom is not really convinced about it. I think she still believes that I shouldn’t have been smashing the glass.”

Further talking about his experience of shooting the ad, the Head Coach of Team India said it was one of the most embarrassing things he had to do. He said that standing on the streets of Bombay will all those actors and crowds looking at him while he had to scream and shout was really embarrassing.
Rahul Dravid is currently in Dominica as team India prepares for the West Indies tour set to kick off tomorrow with a two-match Test series.
