Brett Lee's 5 most dangerous batsmen
The show-piece event, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 has witnessed some stellar performances from all departments. Amidst the tournament, former Australian spearhead Brett Lee has picked up five-most dangerous batsmen who can do wonders in T20 World Cup 2022.
On his YouTube channel, he revealed the names of the five best batsmen who, according to Lee can perform spectacularly well. The list is topped by India’s run-machine Virat Kohli, followed by Australia’s David Warner. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is the third best, while English all-rounder Ben Stokes is the fourth one, followed by Australia’s Tim David.

Lee’s prediction of Kohli has been going all right so far as the talismanic Indian star scored back-to-back half-centuries. First, he played a heroic inning against Pakistan which is claimed by all as the best innings of Kohli’s career including the Chase Master himself.
Warner and Babar’s blades are yet to lash attack in this mega event. Both have fumbled cheaply in the two matches that they’ve played. The same story goes for Stokes, while Tim fell cheaply in one match and scored in another.

Brett Lee says he found it amusing when people criticized Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli certainly is a legend material without a doubt. But he had a rough time when his lean patch was severely restricting his game in the past couple of months. He had not scored a ton since a Test against Bangladesh in 2019. He was just in bits and pieces until the Asia Cup 2022.
Before this year’s Asia Cup, Kohli had taken a one-month break that had refreshed him like nothing ever could. He had said that during that one month, he didn’t even touch the bat. Nevertheless, the break must have done him a great deal as we can witness the same now.
Brett Lee had said in an interview with PTI how he found it rather amusing that people were criticizing Kohli without looking at his records and his performances. He called Kohli a legend of that game and that even if he finds a rough time at the pitch, he sure will make a comeback.
“I found it quite amusing when someone of the calibre of Virat Kohli was attacked. Those who had attacked Kohli didn’t have a look at his records and his performances in the three formats of the game,” Lee told news agency PTI. “There are times when you don’t get hundreds or you don’t get fifties. That’s all part of professional sport. What I do know is Virat Kohli is a legend of the game and it’s very hard to keep these guys down for too long,” Lee added.
