“Miss old Kung Fu Hardik Pandya “- Hardik Pandya’s 4th half-century knock lift Gujarat to a decent total of 169 vs RCB

With the help of Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya’s unbeaten 62 runs, Gujarat Titans have set a decent target of 169 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday, May 19 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Gujarat Titans have won the toss and opted to bat first because according to Hardik Pandya, they wanted to do experiments with batting.
“We are going to bat. The kind of situation we are in, we thought we can practice batting first and putting a good score on the board. Obviously, we had done well as a group, but we haven’t capitalized batting first on opportunities,” Hardik Pandya had told to the Stas Sports at toss.
Gt openers Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill had walked to start the innings but Shubman Gill didn’t play a long innings as Glenn Maxwell had produced an absolute stunner to dismiss Gill.
Wriddhiman Saha was dismissed after his scoring 31 off 22 balls. But in the 9th over, Harshal Patel had bowled to Hardik Pandya and the latter drove it on the up. The short cover fielder failed to stop the ball and the batsmen thought for the run. Pandya was off the blocks but Wriddhiman Saha was watching the ball.
Du Plessis picked up the ball up from mid-off and thew it at the correct end. He then shattered the stumps at the batter’s end and the decision was sent upstairs. And so, when the third umpire had given this out, Pandya had to once again involve in a run out.

Matthew Wade was really not a bit happy after he was wrongly being given an LBW by the umpire. This happened in the over of Glenn Maxwell. An ultra-edge error failed to show the edge and Matthew Wade then threw away his helmet and bat.
Hardik Pandya had scored 62 off 47 runs with 4 fours and 3 sixes while Rashid Khan also played quickfire scoring 19 off 6 balls with 3 sixes and four. Hardik Pandya is also the leading run-scorer for Gujarat in IPL 2022. In his 13 matches, Pandya scored 413 runs.
