WTC Final 2023 Prize Money: How much money will India and Australia get?
The global governing body has kept a total purse of $3.8 million which will be shared among the nine teams.

The World Test Championship (WTC) Final concluded on Sunday (11 June). India and Australia went up against each other in the summit clash of the WTC 2021-23 cycle. The WTC Final 2023 was played at The Oval from 7-11 June with 12 June being a reserve day. This was the second edition of the WTC Final.
Australia beat India by a massive 209 runs to lift their maiden WTC title while India continue to ponder about the reasons for their defeat. The Pat Cummins-led team emerged victorious in a gruelling battle that lasted over four days.
Notably, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the WTC Final 2023 Prize Money a few days back. The global governing body has kept a total purse of $3.8 million which will be shared among the nine teams.

The winner of the ICC World Test Championship 2023 Final, Australia will take home a whopping prize of $1.6 million (INR 13.2 crore) while the runners-up, India will be getting a $800,000 (INR 6.61 crore) cash reward. Meanwhile, the other seven teams will be sharing the rest $1.4 million among themselves.
South Africa who finished in the third position in the WTC 2021-23 Points Table will be getting $450,000. England, who made a late surge and finished their campaign in fourth spot, will bag $350,000.Sri Lanka, who were in the race till the last moment to qualify for the WTC Final, finished fifth and hence will earn $200,000.
The remaining teams New Zealand (No.6), Pakistan (No.7), West Indies (No.8), and Bangladesh (No.9) will be rewarded with a sum of $100,000 each.
