Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 68 plays a huge role

Rajasthan’s opening pair, Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave a good start to the innings with their 46-run partnership. Buttler played hastily to score 30 off 16 by hitting 5 fours and a six. But in the fourth over, so many runs were coming off in that over. But Kagiso Rabada had the last laugh when Buttler tried to play a scoop shot in the last ball. He got in tangle and it somehow ended up going towards short third man where it was taken by Rajapaksa. Buttler also became the first Rajasthan Royals batsman to score 600 runs in a single season.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was the 20-year-old youngster who played his part perfectly in giving the Royals a perfect start that they needed from an opener. He smashed 68 runs in 41 balls with some brilliant fours and two sixes and a strike rate of 165.85.
But in the 15th over Arshdeep Singh trapped him with a full delivery which Jaiswal went for a big hit but he miscued it and so the ball skyed towards the long off where Liam Livingstone caught it perfectly to get rid of the dangerous man.
Sanju Samson got dismissed for 23 off 12 balls and Devdutt Padikkal gave his wicket at 31 while playing 32 balls.
Rajasthan’s big hitter Shimron Hetmyer showed his explosive form with 3 fours and 2 sixes, smacking 31 runs in 16 deliveries to bring victory to the Royals.
