Last year during the final match in the Duleep Trophy between South Zone and West Zone, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was playing for West Zone was involved in a heated altercation with Ravi Teja, owing to which the match was even interrupted a couple of times.

West Zone skipper Ajinkya Rahane and the umpires intervened to try to calm things down between the two. But when it proved useless and both continued sledging each other, Rahane asked his teammate to leave the field. Jaiswal came in again after a few overs.

In an exclusive interview with The Lallantop, Jaiswal opened up about the event but avoided talking about the same. Instead, he said how aggression is important on the field but claimed that he did not say anything bad to Teja. But on the sledging incident in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter revealed that even the seniors get sledged if they hurl abusive words.

Who says that seniors don’t get sledged? It happens to everyone. No one really knows about it. It depends on who is saying what. “Bhai mere ko koi mere maa behen ke baare me bolega, main thodi sununga (If someone says hurls abuse about my mother or sister, I won’t tolerate it),” he added.
