Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf attended the India versus Pakistan match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday (October 14). After returning to Pakistan, he is set to discuss some incidents that left him unhappy, as per the speculations.

Pakistan’s team director Mickey Arthur also criticised the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for not allowing Pakistani fans in India. He indirectly said that not having fans’ support played a role in the team’s hammering by India.

Zaka Ashraf was himself present at Ahmedabad for the match against India and is witness to some incidents which has left him unhappy despite the Indian cricket officials’ hospital during his stay there,” PTI quoted a PCB official as saying. PCB media later took to X to confirm that the board has lodhed formal protest with the ICC over visa and crowd behavior issues.

Several controversial videos from the match have gone viral on social media. The Ahmedabad crowd had booed Pakistan skipper Babar Azam during the toss, abuses were thrown at Babar, as well as at Pakistani teams. When Mohammad Rizwan was walking back to the pavilion after dismissal, a section of the Ahmedabad crowd chanted “Jai Shree Ram“. These incidents have drawn mixed reactions from Indian fans, but the Pakistani supporters were left heavily disappointed.

As per several reports, Pakistani players are battling health issues and are under medical panel’s observation in Bengaluru, however, some players have recovered from the fever. The reason behind the fever is not known yet. Pakistan arrived in Bengaluru after their seven-wicket defeat to Rohit Sharma and company.
