Ottneil Baartman is a South African bowler who plays for the Dolphins in domestic cricket. He is currently an uncapped player but received the call-up to represent the national side in the Test series against Pakistan. However, for a medical reason, he was ruled out of the tour.

The right-arm medium-fast bowler gave his services to the Dolphins and South Western Districts in domestic cricket. He was also a part of the South Western District Under-19s squad. He started his domestic career for the South Western before moving to the Dolphins.

Talking about franchise cricket, Baartman is a part of the Sunrisers Eastern Cape squad for the upcoming  SA20 league in 2023. The Port Elizabeth-based franchise signed him during the draft process. Baartman also entered the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction 2023 for a base price of INR 20 lakh.

Baartman’s first-class debut came for the South Western Districts against North West, at Potchefstroom in January 2015. In a total of 33 first-class matches, Baartman scalped 97 wickets at an economy of 3.05. His best figures in a match read 14/95, while in an innings, it is 7/27.

He played 37 List-A matches and scalped 58 wickets. Baartman has only one four-wicket haul in the format. He debuted for South West Districts against North West on January 25, 2015, at Potchefstroom.

Meanwhile, his maiden T20 match was against Namibia at Outshoorn on November 2, 2014. In 44 T20 matches, Baartman has 56 wickets at an economy of 6.44. He has two four-wicket hauls and one fifer, with a career-best of 5/14.
