“Fool proof” PCB again trolled on Twitter for poor English

The New Zealand cricket team left the entire cricket fraternity in shock on September 17, Friday. The cricket team was scheduled to kickstart their limited-overs tour against Pakistan. The two teams had to feature in three One Day Internationals and five T20 Internationals. However, just before the first ODI, New Zealand decided to cancel the game due to security reasons.

The Blackcaps decided to leave the whole tour after there was an escalation in New Zealand government threat levels for Pakistan. The NZC security advisors from the ground also gave the same advice and the New Zealand Cricket (NZC) is now not interested in risking the safety of their players/

The announcement by NZC came as a shock for many including the Pakistan Cricket Board. Board released an official statement on the whole matter to clear his stance. PCB revealed that Pakistan had taken strict measures to ensure the safety of the players and the PM had also assured New Zealand PM regarding the same.

PCB releases an official statement

PCB

“Earlier today, the New Zealand cricket board informed us that they had been alerted to some security alert and have unilaterally decided to postpone the series. PCB and Govt of Pakistan made fool proof security arrangements for all visiting teams. We have assured the NZ cricket board of the same.

“The Prime Minister spoke personally to the Prime Minister of New Zealand and informed her that we have one of the best Intelligence systems in the world and that no security threat of any kind exists for the visiting team. PCB is willing to continue the scheduled matches. However, cricket lovers in Pakistan and around the world will be disappointed by this last-minute withdrawal,” the statement by PCB read.

Amidst the tense situation, the cricket fans managed to find humor too as they once targeted the Pakistan Cricket Board. PCB became an easy target for many trollers and haters after there was a silly spelling mistake in the tweet made by them. Instead of foolproof, PCB wrote fool proof to become a laughing stock on social media.
