Prenelan Subrayen is a South African all-rounder who plays for the Dolphins in domestic cricket. He earned his Test call-up on May 21 for the West Indies series. That same year in December, he was called to play for the Test side against India. But both times, he didn’t receive his cap.

Subrayen’s best season was the 2019-20 one as he ended the CSA 4-Day Franchise Series with 38 scalps in just seven matches. He was the leading wicket-taker also. In his domestic career, he has one 10-wicket haul and six five-wicket hauls.

Subrayen made his first-class debut for KwaZulu-Natal in November 2011. In 58 matches, he amassed 1168 runs. He has scored one ton- which was an unbeaten 134- and four half-centuries. He scalped 150 wickets at an economy of 2.71. With the best figures of 10/80, the Proteas all-rounder has completed six five-wicket hauls and one ten-wicket haul.

In List A cricket, he made his debut against Border on November 14, 2010. The all-rounder has scored 828 runs and scalped 80 wickets in the 87 matches he played. His best batting and bowling figures in List A cricket are 84 and 3/14, respectively.

Subrayen’s debut match in T20 was against Impi on March 7, 2012. He played 88 matches, amassed just 364 runs, and scalped 82 wickets. His best score was an unbeaten 35, while with the ball, 4/22 was his best bowling figures.
