Even though Kane Williamson’s Sunrisers Hyderabad are already out of the race of the top 4, they have not given up hope and played beautifully against Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals. Under pressure, SRH managed to beat RR by seven wickets with nine balls in hand.

Even though Sanju Samson led from the front and scored 82 runs for RR, it was their bowling and fielding that let them down. They leaked too many runs and failed to build any sort of pressure on SRH.

Chasing 165 runs, SRH got off to a fabulous start because of a quick fire 60 run knock by Jason Roy. He was really well backed by skipper Kane Williamson who scored an unbeaten 51 runs to help his team finish on the winning side.

Even though the Sunrisers Hyderabad remain at the bottom of the points table of the IPL 2021, they have caused a lot of trouble for the Rajasthan Royals. Samson’s men are now on the sixth spot with eight points.

The Twitteratis were really fond of Jason Roy. The opener came as an out of syllabus question for Rajasthan Royals and completely stunned everyone with his opening knock of 60 runs off just 42 deliveries.

Although Rajasthan ended on the losing side, fans hailed Sanju Samson for his brilliant performance. Overall, he has batted really well in the tournament even if he has failed to stand out a great skipper.
