Team India is enjoying the time of their life in England as they got off a tremendous start in the five-match Test series. The first Test between the two sides ended in a draw due to rain while the visitors scripted an emphatic win over England in the second match by 151 runs.

India’s head coach Ravi Shastri is basking in joy after India’s spectacular victory. However, the veteran is also missing his pets who are miles away from him. On Monday, August 23, Shastri took to his official Twitter handle to share a heartwarming picture of his pets enjoying their meal on a rare sunny day in India.

The short clip caused a buzz on social media as it fetched a lot of likes and comments from the cricket enthusiast. However, many cricket fans were left amused by the names of Shastri’s pets. Through his Twitter post, the head coach revealed that he has named his dogs Bouncer, Beamer, Flipper, Skipper, and Yorker.

“My buddies Bouncer, Beamer, Flipper,  Skipper, Yorker tucking into their lunch on a rare sunny day on the west coast in India. Miss you guys. See you soon,” Ravi Shastri wrote while posting the adorable video on his Twitter handle.

Ravi Shastri might be in contention to add another feather in his illustrious cap as the head coach of the Indian cricket team. Under Shastri, India has achieved a lot of laurels including winning the Test series against Australia twice in 2019 and 2021. The Virat Kohli-led side can achieve another milestone by defeating England in the five-match Test series.

The first Test between India and England ended in a tie after the last day was completely washed out due to rain. In the second Test, India completely outclasses the hosts to secure a victory by 151 runs. Thus, the visitors are leading the series by 1-0 and are deemed as the favorites to win the Test series.
