Bowling all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin is an active Indian cricketer who primarily plays in the longer format of the game. One of the leading Test wicket-takers of all time, Ashwin has won plenty of matches single-handedly for his side. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), the right-hander plays for Delhi Capitals (DC) since the 2020 edition.

Born in Chennai, Ashwin has graduated with a BTech in Information Technology from the SSN College of Engineering. He began his early career as a medium-pace bowler before turning into an off-spinner. The 34-year-old represents Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket and has also featured for various counties like Worcestershire, Nottinghamshire and Surrey.
