Ravindra Jadeja of Chennai Super Kings made a crucial catch to dismiss Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Dinesh Karthik and then celebrated with relief.
Jadeja’s celebration after the catch revealed the immense pressure he has been under since taking over as captain of the Chennai franchise prior to the IPL 2022.

CSK had lost their first four matches under Karthik’s captaincy, and a fifth defeat appeared to be on the horizon. However, to the relief of the all-rounder, the wicketkeeper-batsman attempted to hook one of Dwayne Bravo’s deliveries to Jadeja in the 17th over.

New captain Ravindra Jadeja has been receiving a lot of criticism after four consecutive defeats by defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In the 22nd match of IPL-2022 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), when his team scored a mammoth score of 216 runs for 4 wickets, then obviously he must have been happy. When he bowled the stormy batting Glenn Maxwell, he could not stop himself from expressing his feelings.
Ravindra Jadeja, who often wields a sword in Rajputana style on the field, this time celebrated Maxwell’s wicket in a different way. He celebrated by firing a hand gun after Maxi was dismissed. He knew that if Maxi stayed on the ground for too long, the match could turn around. The Australian all-rounder played an inning of 26 runs in 11 balls hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes.
