Sanju Samson has been an IPL star ever since he broke into the Rajasthan Royals playing XI. Since the age of 20, he has been the captain of Kerala and is now the captain of Rajasthan Royals. And though he doesn’t often features for India in international matches, in his personal life, he is happily married to Charulatha Ramesh.
Making his first class debut at the young of 14, he was finally noticed by IPL scouts in 2013, where Rajasthan Royals bought him in the auction. After winning Emerging Player of the season in 2013, he became a household name. After being released in 2016 due to RR’s ban, he was bought by Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), but returned to RR in 2018, which he now captains.
Samson made his India debut in 2015 while India was touring Zimbabwe. He has been in and out of the team, with his inconsistent form being a major reason. So far, he has played 40 matches for India, with 24 in T20Is and 16 in ODIs.
