Ravindra Jadeja
India’s top all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is looking forward to clinching the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup title for his national side. The much-awaited tournament is scheduled to take place from October 17 to November 14 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman.
All the competing sides have begun their preparations for the ICC event and are still playing bilateral series to level up their games. On the other hand, team India is currently playing the five-match Test series against England and the second phase of the IPL 2021 will be the last 20-over format assignment before the T20 WC.
Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja has reckoned that he will try to give his 100 per cent and win India’s second World T20 title after 2007.
“Definitely, it’s a good opportunity to make my team win this time in the T20 World Cup. Whenever I get an opportunity, I try to give my 100%. I feel good representing my country in a big sporting event like the World Cup. It’s a special feeling,” Jadeja was quoted as saying to The Times of India in an exclusive interview.
“Yes, I am one of the best fielders in the world”

The southpaw went on to talk about his top-notch fielding skills while reckoning that he doesn’t take anything for granted. Jadeja further stated that the team’s skipper Virat Kohli gives a lot of importance to raising the fitness standards which ultimately showcases results in the field.
“Yes, I am one of the best fielders in the world. But I don’t take anything for granted, I keep working on my game and my fitness. I do a lot of shoulder exercises and running for that, for instance. That’s how I maintain my fitness, which helps me on the field.
“Virat definitely has been very enthusiastic, proactive, and fit. He believes a lot in fitness as well, so everyone has to raise their fitness standards. Everyone in the team has been working on their fitness, that’s why you can see the difference in the field now,” the 32-year-old said.
