Tim Southee was on fire on the field, taking two brilliant catches during the match between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Punjab Kings at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. The New Zealand fast bowler covered a lot of ground to dismiss one of the best players in IPL 2022, Kagiso Rabada.
Tim Southee was unstoppable on the field during the eighth IPL 2022 match between the Punjab Kings and the Kolkata Knight Riders. Tim Southee did an even better job of sending Kagiso Rabada back to the Punjab dugout after taking a great catch to dismiss Liam Livingstone on the boundary earlier in the match.
The incident happened on the first ball of the match’s 18th over, when Andre Russell was bowling. Kagiso Rabada cleared his left foot as he attempted to hit the ball over long-off, but he got the top edge and the ball rose high. Tim Southee, who was stationed at the boundary, dashed towards the ball and took a brilliant diving catch to end Rabda’s 25-ball innings.
