The last match of IPL 2021 saw something sensational. Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore sealed an absolute thriller after hitting a last ball six against Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals. At the end, they won the match by seven wickets.
Batting first, Delhi Capitals enjoyed a great start as openers Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan added 88 runs for the first wicket. However, the middle order couldn’t capitalize much and as a result, RCB managed to keep DC at 164 runs.
In response, even after a poor start, RCB batted really well. Although Glenn Maxwell was quite lucky as he was dropped twice, he stayed till the end along with Srikar Bharat. Both of them scored 51 and 78 runs respectively and made sure that their team ended on the winning side.
DC ended its IPL 2021 campaign as the table toppers. On the other hand, RCB finished third and will now face KKR in the Eliminator.
