In the 52nd match of IPL 2021, Kane Williamson’s Sunrisers Hyderabad survived a tough win against Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers. SRH bowled really well under pressure and defeated RCB by 4 runs.

Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a total of 141 runs on the board. Jason Roy and Kane Williamson batted well for SRH and made sure that the team put up a decent total. RCB’s Harshal Patel once again outshone others and picked up three wickets in his spell of four overs.

With 142 to chase, RCB began a show and steady chase after losing Virat Kohli in the very first over. Devdutt Padikkal anchored the innings but he managed to score only 42 runs off 51 deliveries. With 13 runs required from the last over, AB de Villiers failed to seize the match for his side despite trying his best.

Even after this win, SRH continue to remain at the bottom of the points table of IPL 2021 with 6 points. Similarly, despite the loss, RCB are still at the third spot.
