Ace Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan yet again took to social media and pleaded not to kill the innocent people of his country. Khan wrote a heartfelt message on Twitter when two explosions shook the nation’s capital city of Kabul.

The horrible incident took place when thousands of Afghan citizens waited inside and outside the Kabul airport and suddenly two explosions devastated everything and everyone. The blasts are reported to have claimed at least 11 lives while injuring 15 people.

Afghanistan’s T20I skipper tweeted: “Kabul is bleeding again; stop killing Afghan please”.

This is not the first time when Rashid Khan put forward his voice on the ongoing political fiasco in Afghanistan. The moment when the Taliban was about to take over, the leg-spinner had begged the international authorities for prayers and help for his countrymen.

He had earlier tweeted: “Dear World Leaders! My country is in chaos, thousands of innocent people, including children & women, get martyred every day, houses & properties being destructed. A thousand families were displaced…Don’t leave us in chaos. Stop killing Afghans & destroying Afghanistan. We want peace.”
