Team India skipper Virat Kohli, who missed out on playing the recently-concluded T20I series against New Zealand, is currently practising in Mumbai ahead of the second Test. Meanwhile, he posted a photograph on Instagram with an adorable cat sitting on his lap.

Kohli’s wife and top Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was quick to write a comment underneath the post. Following this, the 33-year-old came up with a punny reply and here’s the conversation that the duo shared on the popular social media platform:

“A quick hello from a cool cat at practice,” Kohli captioned the post on his official Instagram handle. Anushka was quick to join and commented, “Hello billi (Hi cat),” on Kohli’s picture with the ‘cool cat’. To this, her hubby Virat hilariously responded by saying, “@anushkasharma launda from dilli and Mumbai ki billi (Guy from Delhi with Mumbai’s cat)”.

Just like the 20-over matches, the ‘Modern Master’ has been rested from the first Test match against the Kiwis, scheduled from November 25 onwards at the Green Park, Kanpur. However, he will be coming back as the captain of the side for the Mumbai Test between Dec 3-7.

India’s vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane will lead the side in Kohli’s absence while Cheteshwar Pujara has been appointed as his deputy. Notably, Rohit Sharma will miss out on both the games to be played by the Asian Giants in whites.
