The team of Rajasthan Royals is facing Royal Challengers Bangalore in their third match of IPL 2022 . Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to bowl first. Rajasthan had a poor start and opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was bowled out for just 4 runs. Devdutt Padikkal , along with Jos Buttler, took the innings after the first wicket fell on the score of 6 .
Buttler-Padikkal shared a 70-run partnership for the second wicket. Padikkal was dismissed by Harshal Patel after scoring 37 off 29 balls against his former team. He tried to play a big shot on the slow ball but the ball went into the air. Virat Kohli took his catch while running back. After this catch, there was a lot of confusion on the field.
After getting out, Padikkal went out of the field and the next batsman Sanju Samson came on the field. After this the third umpire decided to check the catch. Padikkal reached the dugout, where the fourth umpire asked him to stop. At the same time, Sanju Samson, who came on the field, was stopped by the on-field umpire from going to the crease. After this, the third umpire declared Virat Kohli valid in replays and Padikkal was out.

Jos Buttler smashed an unbeaten 70 to power Rajasthan Royals to 169 for 3 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their Indian Premier League match on Tuesday.
Sent to bat, Buttler anchored the innings from the start to the finish, hitting six sixes in his 47-ball knock, while Shimron Hetmyer (42 not out) and Devdutt Padikkal (37) also made valuable contributions. For RCB, Wanindu Hasaranga (1/32), Harshal Patel (1/18) and David Willey 1/29 took a wicket each.
