‘Captain Courageous’ Wasim Jaffer subtly trolls Fox Cricket for calling Virat Kohli classless
Virat Kohli
Indian skipper Virat Kohli is an animated character who is always pumped up and at his aggressive best during a cricket match. Day five of the fourth Test between India and England saw Kohli completely charged up as India scripted a historic win by 157 runs at the Oval.
The Indian skipper made sure that all the Indian players were in a high spirit throughout the Test and there was no shortage of intensity. However, Virat’s different celebration also landed him in trouble as he was subjected to flak on social media by a particular section of Indian fans.
As India was heading towards their first win at the Oval in the past 50 years, the Delhi-born turned to the English crowd and did a typical Trumpet celebration with both his hand. The celebration in a way trolled the England spectators who haven’t left any stone unturned in the series to troll or sledge the Indian players.
While many in the cricket fraternity appreciated Virat for his aggression on the field, a section of the English fans bashed the Indian skipper. A few also went as far as calling the modern-day batting great classless. Fox Cricket also tweeted in the same regard as they took to their official Twitter handle to troll the Indian captain.

The post by the leading sports website captured the attention of the former Indian batsman Wasim Jaffer. The Indian veteran, who is quite active on social media, didn’t think twice before correcting the tweet made by Fox Cricket.
