Hasan Ali addressed a press conference on behalf of Islamabad United
Pakistan speedster Hasan Ali has yet again made it to the headlines after the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 players’ draft. This time he indulged in a heated argument with a media reporter while addressing a press conference on Sunday.
This incident took place when Ali refused to answer a Pakistani journalist, Anas Saeed. The 27-year-old mid-way interrupted the reporter while he was asking a question and cited a social media interaction between the two.
“First you write good things on Twitter, and then I’ll give answers. Ok? You shouldn’t be personal with anyone,” Hasan Ali slammed that media personnel.
“As PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) can’t stop you (from asking questions), at least we have the right,” he further added.
A few months back, Saeed had questioned Ali when he was travelling to play in PSL and not following COVID-19 protocols. However, the pace bowler had replied to the journalist’s tweet while sidelining his claims.
“Simply put, according to the protocol, it is necessary to wear a mask while travelling. Those who take it off may be fined,” he tweeted while sharing a clip of Hasan having fun with his teammates in a flight.
Reacting to the clip, Hasan wrote: “Don’t create drama please with old videos. Check your facts first. No need to give fake masala, expect better from u.”
