A 5-year-old boy SK Shahid, who is a fan of Sachin Tendulkar, became an internet sensation after his batting video went viral. The video turned out to be a lucky one as the legendary batsman himself called him to his academy Middlesex Global Academy to train for five days.

The practice video of the kid was uploaded by his parents on their Twitter handle. Shaikh Shamser, the father told the news agency PTI over the phone on Friday about how this dream of their kid, who wanted to see the Master Blaster, was fulfilled by the legend himself.

“My son is five years old. His role model is Sachin Sir and it was his dream to see him. He wants to become a cricketer. Just to see him was his dream, but what Sachin Sir did, even a thank you is less. We had uploaded a video of Shahid on our Twitter handle. This video was tweeted by Fox Cricket, which is an Australian channel.”

“The channel tagged Tendulkar, former England captain Michael Vaughan, and the late Shane Warne. We feel that Tendulkar saw this video after which a member of his team got in touch with us.” Late legend Shane Warne also lauded the kid’s skills.
