The best player of the scoop shot according to Shakib was English wicket-keeper Jos Buttler and with regard to the sweep shot, it was Joe Root whom Shakib noted has started to play the shot extremely effectively. The pull shot was a no-brainer as Shakib chose former Aussie skipper Ricky Ponting. The final shot was the six down the ground and the Bangladeshi cricketer chose West Indies icon Chris Gayle. Although there are plenty of batsmen that were missed out, Shakib’s choices seem near-perfect as it looks extremely difficult to look past the aforesaid batsmen while thinking of the mentioned shots.
