WATCH: Yashasvi Jaiswal smashes a six off Sandeep Sharma; loses his wicket on the next ball

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sandeep Sharma
Bottom-placed Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are up against Rajasthan Royals in the 40th match of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Hyderabad are already out from the playoff race. Rajasthan, on the other hand, are playing a much-win game as they need nothing less than a victory to stay relevant in the competition.
Opting to bat first, the Royals had a turbulent start as they lost their opening batsman Evin Lewis in the second over when he was playing at six. However, the team recovered quickly as the other opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal and skipper Sanju Samson looked in sensational form.
The duo stitched a crucial 61-run stand in the middle to help RR make a comeback in the game. One of the highlights of the match so far has been the battle between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sandeep Sharma. On the third delivery of the ninth over by Sandeep, Jaiswal smashed a stunning maximum.
Sandeep Sharma takes his revenge on Yashasvi Jaiswal

It was a delightful hit by RR’s opening batter as he swung the bat nicely to gain six runs over the long-off. However, what made more headlines was an impressive comeback by Sandeep. On the very next delivery, the SRH seamer had his revenge as he dismissed Jaiswal.
Sandeep bowled a friendly full toss and Jaiswal decided to go for a big hit. However, in the process, the batter moved towards the led-side and under-edged the ball onto the base of the off stump. The 19-year-old thus had to move back to the pavilion after scoring just 36 runs off 23 deliveries. His knock was laced with five boundaries and one maximum.
As far as RR is concerned, the team posted 165 runs in their 20 overs. Samson was the wrecker-in-chief for his side as he played a sublime knock of 82 runs off 57 deliveries.
