Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is an entertainer on and off the cricket field. The 39-year-old often posts hilarious stuff on his social media handles to leave the cricket fanatics in stitches. Something similar happened on September 2 as Yuvraj wished India’s pace sensation Ishant Sharma on his birthday.

The former Indian all-rounder shared a funny video on his official Instagram handle where he mimicked Ishant’s talking style to wish the seamer on his 33rd birthday. With the hilarious video, Yuvraj also posted a heart-warming caption for Ishant. “Just joking lambu! Many happy returns of the day. Lots of love and best wishes always! Hope you have a great test series,” the 39-year-old wrote.

This time around, pace merchant Ishant Sharma brought his birthday in the United Kingdom along with his Indian teammates. Ishant is a part of the Indian team for the ongoing five-match Test series against England. The seamer missed the first Test owing to an injury.

However, Sharma made a comeback to the Test team in the second Test at Lord’s as he replaced Shardul Thakur. The Delhi-born immediately made headlines with his impressive performances with the willow. Ishnat picked three and two wickets respectively in two innings to help India win by 151 runs. 

The same was followed by the seamer losing his plot in the third Test. The 33-year-old delivered one of the worst performances of his cricket career at Leeds. At present, the right-hander is warming the bench as he was excluded from the playing XI for the fourth Test at Oval. 

It is learned that the seamer is suffering from a niggle and the team management decided to give a much-needed break to the pacer. However, making a comeback will be tough for Ishant in the last Test of the series as his replacement Shardul Thakur has done exceptionally well in the Oval Test.
