Cristiano Ronaldo just broke another record and social media is left stunned. The Portuguese athlete has surpassed global sensation Taylor Swift in YouTube subscriber count. Currently, Ronaldo stands at 60.3 million while the pop singer resides a couple thousands behind at 59.9.

There is no debate about the affect and influence the two has on the masses. Cristiano Ronaldo made history a month ago by gaining 30 million subscribers in just one day. That wasn’t even the peak for the Al Nassr captain as he continued to break records and gain followers on the platform.

This time around, Ronaldo’s fans left behind the cult followers of Taylor Swift in clicking the red button. However, it wasn’t as surprising as the athlete already has millions of followers on his other social media platforms.
