Cristiano Ronaldo could make a SHOCK return to Real Madrid if Man United fail to qualify for UEFA Champions League

Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United this summer has not at all gone to plan as the Red Devils have struggled for form, consistency and have found it difficult to get wins this season. Even with the arrival of Ralf Rangnick, United are far from their best at the moment. As a result Cristiano is considering a move back to Los Blancos if Manchester United fail to secure Champions League football for next season.

Ronaldo made a switch to Santiago Bernabeau in 2009 and went on to become one of the best players in Real Madrid history and also shared the famous rivalry with Lionel Messi. Cristiano Ronaldo won two La Ligas(2011-12, 2016-17), two Copa Del Reys(2010-11, 2013-14) and a whopping four UEFA Champions League(2013-14, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18) along with other trophies and individual accolades before leaving for Juventus in the 2018 summer transfer window.

According to the Catalan newspaper, El Nacional, Cristiano Ronaldo has instructed his agent Jorge Mendes to initiate discussions with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez about a potential return to the club.
