Real Madrid announce the ‘historic’ transfer of Kylian Mbappe
Europe beware! The 15-time Champions League winners announced the transfer of one of the best players in the world in Kylian Mbappe. Adding the Frenchman to the ranks of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr. & Rodrygo will be scary, but for the rest of Europe.
After years of anticipation and rumors, the deal is finally done. The forward signed with Los Blancos through 2029 on a free transfer.
The club followed up on his signing with a 3:44 minute-long video, showing his explosive pace, immaculate dribbling and ball striking ability. The footballing community is completely in awe of the transfer, despite the move being common knowledge for quite some time. As Madrid try to build another edition of the ‘Galacticos’, it remains to be seen what their eternal rivals FC Barcelona respond with.
Mbappe’s numbers last season speak for themselves. His 44 goals and 7 assists across all competitions make it difficult to ignore just how big of a talent Madrid have at their disposal. With the Euros in Germany just around the corner, fans will have to wait atleast two more months to see the player in Madrid colors.
