Al-Nassr often find themselves on the wrong side of the scoreline when they’ve come up against Al-Hilal in the past. However, the Faris Najd certainly held the upper hand as they claimed a point against the League leaders on Friday night. Goals from Anderson Talisca and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic set the stage for an exciting draw.
Cristiano Ronaldo led the attacking line for Al-Nassr as the men in yellow asserted their grip on the tie. Talisca opened the scoring in the first minute of the game, when a pass from Otavio set him up with a golden opportunity to find the net from close range. Anderson Talisca would go on to score a hat-trick in the game, all to be disallowed for offside.
Ronaldo’s involvement in the game was limited to an offside header and a powerful shot, parried by opposition keeper Yassine Bounou. Despite their dominance throughout the game, Al-Nassr were frustratingly held to a draw when Sergej Milinkovic-Savic found the net in the 77th minute from a header.

Following the game, Ronaldo took to X as he sent a strong message to his fans.
Al-Nassr play their next game against Al-Ain in the AFC Champions League before playing Al-Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League away from home.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘disaster’ run against Al-Hilal continues
There aren’t many sides in the sport of football that Cristiano Ronaldo has found difficult to conquer. However, Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal are shaping up to be the Portuguese’s kryptonite, as he has yet to win a single competitive game against them. The two sides met at Al-Awwal Park as the game ended one goal apiece.
With 0 wins and just one goal in seven games, Ronaldo’s record against Al-Hilal is far from impressive. The player has lost two finals against them and has also picked up a red card in the process. With the gap between the two sides extending to six points and two spots, it is difficult to fathom Al-Nassr clinching the Saudi Pro League crown.
Find some shame.

0 wins in 8 domestic matches vs Hilal with Cristiano Ronaldo. So many trophies lost.
Meanwhile prior to CR7 we won 5 of the last 8. Shameless! https://t.co/jC8ambES2C pic.twitter.com/JlfxFm8QlM
A fan commented that Ronaldo has ‘failed’ to deliver something significant for Al-Nassr and has always been humbled by Al-Hilal in their meetings. Another added that fans are ‘delusional’ to claim that Ronaldo ‘owns’ Al-Hilal while reality points in the opposite direction. Ronaldo has scored 6 goals and set up another 2 in 8 League appearances this season.
