Rishabh Pant couldn’t make it to the Playing XI because Dinesh Karthik was chosen in his place. Knowing the nature of Twitter fans, they indeed made a correlation of Pant’s not getting picked to Urvashi Rautela‘s presence in the stadium.
Notably, the two have a history with both of them slamming each other publicly on their social media. But the story starts with their getting clicked together several times by the media. According to rumours, Pant had blocked Urvashi on WhatsApp back in 2018. But recently, Urvashi revealed in an interview about how Pant (she used Mr RP in the interview) waited for him outside of her hotel room in Delhi and her being too tired off hectic schedule made her fall asleep, resulted in Pant’s calling her 14-15 times, according to her.
Pant was furious with what Urvashi said in the interview. He took to his Instagram, posted a story to slam her, calling her “behen” (sister) and asking her to leave him.
Urvashi didn’t stay quiet for a long time, she responded on the eve of Raksha Bandhan, calling Pant “Chotu Bhaiya” and a cougar hunter. Pant didn’t respond to it.
Now that Team India’s Playing XI was without Pant and Urvashi was spotted in the stadium, fans are going berserk; their theory is Urvashi’s presence was the reason behind Pant’s not getting selected.
