Chelsea’s unwavering stance on Marc Guehi’s remains clear, amid competition for Crystal Palace star
The Blues lead the race to sign Crystal Palace center-back Marc Guehi, during the upcoming summer transfer window. The 24-year-old former Chelsea academy graduate, is highly admired by clubs across Europe, following his breakout display for the Eagles.

With just 12 months left on his current deal, the Englishman however, could be on his way out. Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca remains highly interested in bringing back the 24-year-old, and could spend up to £70 million to secure his signing, pushing aside rival contenders.

However, the Blues current wage structure of offering long-term deals with a lower basic wage could make it tricky. Marc Guehi remains a prized asset, having made more than 140 appearances for Crystal Palace, and 22 appearances for the Three Lions.
